Vacuum tankers

Our vacuum tankers are made from acid-resistant steel. This ensures great flexibility in terms of handling and transporting industrial products, such as acids and alkalis, and all general vacuum tanker operations. We have strong focus on creating compact, low and short trailers which ensure optimum driving characteristics, as well as good manoeuvrability on the roads.

All of our vacuum tankers are also fully hydraulic and equipped with intelligent PLC controls.

Our selection ranges from superstructures on 2-, 3- or 4-axle vehicles to a wide range of trailers, semi-trailers, cart superstructures and special solutions.

With more than 20 years’ experience from the vacuum tanker industry, VM Tarm a/s has built solid experience in the production and servicing of vacuum tankers. Now we are really seeing the value of stainless/acid-resistant steel, which offers a long service life and the opportunity to transfer an old system to a new chassis.

We focus on weight optimisation, delivering higher payloads, better driving characteristics and lower fuel consumption, without compromising on strength or durability.

Stainless steel – built to last

Our vacuum tankers are made from stainless and acid-resistant steel, because the choice of material is crucial. Our vacuum tankers are made from stainless and acid-resistant steel, giving them a much longer service life than conventional materials. Stainless steel withstands corrosion, chemicals and daily wear, keeping the system running for years with minimal maintenance.

Trailers

We also build a complete range of trailers for sludge handling. This includes carts, trailers and semi-trailers – built to the same high quality with a focus on long service life and optimal performance.

On a VM Tarm trailer, not only is the tank made of stainless steel, but so is the entire undercarriage. This makes a trailer a truly long-term investment that requires minimal maintenance. Our trailers are also customised, designed and built in close collaboration with the customer.

Have your vacuum tanker refurbished by VM Tarm

We provide professional vacuum tanker refurbishment, revitalising your existing system without the need to invest in a completely new solution.

We thoroughly inspect the vacuum tanker and tailor the refurbishment to its condition and your needs. This may include repair or replacement of wearing parts, updating of hydraulics, improvement of functions as well as cosmetic and technical refurbishment.

We specialise in transferring the vacuum system to a new chassis when the vehicle has reached the end of its service life. A solution that is both economical and sustainable. Some of our vacuum systems have been in service for over 20 years and are currently operating on their third chassis.
