Battery operation of milk pump generation 2

What is the difference?

The new one is a hybrid solution, which can both run on batteries and directly with a cable. At the same time, we have moved from 24 volts DC to 400 volts AC.

This offers a number of advantages, including:

  • Cheaper electric motors.
  • No need for cooling of the electric motor.
  • Ability to drive the milk pump directly by connecting a cable (i.e., you can get power from the grid where you get a 'greener' power, or you can manage with a smaller battery pack as it does not have to handle the entire route itself).
  • Faster charging of batteries by connecting a cable.
  • Ability to get power directly from the truck's E-pto if it becomes electric trucks.

Both batteries and associated equipment are still products of the highest quality from Mastervolt.

The entire system has been developed in close cooperation between our technicians and the Mastervolt supplier.

We are a total supplier and everything is mounted and assembled by us here at the factory, so we have both know-how and spare parts to handle all service, maintenance, and warranty.

  • The batteries can still be charged while driving from the truck's generator or via E-axles on semitrailers, allowing for continuous operation with battery power without requiring cable connection at any time.
  • The system can, of course, also supply 24 volts for other functions, such as VSE control systems on semitrailers and similar.
